Yes folks, I have given in to the pretty and bought myself an iPod. My parents have agreed to pay half as an early birthday present. I got it engraved too and will give out virtual cookies to anyone who knows where the words are from:

Beauty walks a razor's edge
Someday I'll make it mine

And yes, I did buy it before my ear decided it wanted to kill me slowly and painfully. I'm trying to get around more ear problems by wearing the earphones dangling over my ears rather than actually in them. Perhaps not the most stylish method but better than wanting to stab my own ears out with pokers.
