I ventured into town today. I could have walked down but I wanted to familiarise myself with the buses here because there are so many more than there were in Farnham. Which is good, I love having better transportation options, but it does make it a bit confusing sometimes! I used to know exactly which bus to get because I only had the one option. This time I went down on one bus route and came back on another. And I think there are still more I could get that would bring me where I need to be.

The view on the journey down was lovely, which is great because the buses where I used to live had a pretty good view too and I had been feeling a bit sad about losing it, but this one is even better!

I wandered along the seafront for a bit and at one point got myself an iced mocha and sat by the sea with it because that's something I kept telling myself I'd do when I finally moved.

I was tempted by a couple of museums and attractions but reminded myself that I have plenty of time to experience them all. It's not like I'm on holiday and have to squeeze in as much as possible before I go home. I am home!

I then did some general shopping for my trip. I bought some travel toiletries and a nice new bag to take with me. And a pretty notebook to use as a diary.
