Happy 2025, everyone!  Time for me to look back at my Resolutions from last year and see how well badly I've done!

1. Post more 2019 photos. (I know I could give up on this. I refuse to.) I did make some progress on this in the form of selecting some more pics to post, but I haven't actually posted any more.  My 2029 target is looking more realistic by the year...

2. Finish at least one book. (Might as well carry this one over as well.) I started another book, does that count?  No.  No it does not because it is the exact opposite of what I'm trying to do.

3. Post a fic that's not part of a fandom event but just a fic you've written. (Maybe even the Mentalist fic you spent so long on...) Nope!  I can't be too unhappy though, cos I'm continuing to be active in fandom and that's good.  I've been talking to people on Tumblr and participating in fic events.  I made it to the final round of the Rumbelle Showdown and I wrote a Secret Santa fic.  I just haven't posted anything not related to an event.

4. Score 1/6 on Wordle. (Hey, it could happen!) And the failures just keep on coming.  I did get more 2/6s but am still chasing the ever elusive 1.

5. Move house. (It's a big one, I know, but something I really want to happen this year.) This one hurts the most.  I really want to and I was so hopeful it was going to happen.  We decluttered more, I viewed houses for sale, we looked into storage options.  But we're stuck until the guy buying our house sells his and that's slow going.

So that's a big 0/5 for me!  Now the question is, do I keep carrying over the same resolutions or make new ones?  Let's do both...

2025 Resolutions:

1. Post more 2019 photos.

2. Finish at least one book.

3. Post a fic that's not part of a fandom event.

4. Score 1/6 on Wordle.

5.  Move house.

6. Participate in the World Jigsaw Championships.

7. Find a new hairdresser (mine went out of business months ago and I've been lazy about finding a new one.)

8. Keep the table clear.  (It's so nice to have space.  Let's try and keep it that way!)
