I went to the new local cinema on Sunday!

It was a bit eerie cos the rest of the development is a ghost town. There's literally nothing there except the cinema! But it's a nice little cinema and I enjoyed myself. I can't remember the last time I've been out to see a film. Emma took me to see Deadpool & Wolverine and it was a lot of fun. Also made me want to rewatch the first X-Men film and read Logan/Rogue fanfiction, which I have been doing. The fanfiction I mean, I haven't rewatched the film yet.

She also took me to a lovely little Italian in town that I've gone past loads of times and wanted to try but never have.

It was delicious. All in all it was a lovely day and I really hope we can do it again. Maybe we can make cinema trips a regular thing now that there's one so close! I'm not as into films as she is, but I'm sure there will be some I want to see.

In other news I won one of the Family Olympics Sweepstakes medals! My Japan got the most golds, while Meg's Great Britain got the most overall. And Rob got nothing, despite looking like he was going to win both at one point!
