Winner!

Spain won the Euros, which means I won the fantastic prize of Prosecco and a Chocolate Medal!  It's funny, when I drew the teams at the beginning of the tournament I thought I had no chance of winning cos Spain were my only decent team.  Just goes to show that you only need one!

Also on Sunday, Mum and I went to the village fete.  It was a bit disappointing, not much there, but I did buy a couple of tickets for the tombola and walked away with this:

Wine!

So I'd call that a win.  £1 total spend for a pretty nice bottle of wine!  

In other news, our internet has been flaky recently.  It's been cutting out a lot and the phone line has been crackling too.  Yesterday I could hear what sounded like another line behind the voice I was listening to.  An engineer came out today, did various tests, and thinks the problem is with one of the poles.  But he didn't have the proper equipment to climb up them so either he or someone else is going to have to come out again later.  Hopefully tomorrow but no guarantees.
