I've been feeling grotty all day which hasn't been fun. I wanted something light to watch so decided to give some of the more recent episodes of The Simpsons a go. The first one I watched was The 7 Beer Itch and it was just... awful. I know it's trendy to hate on modern Simpsons but I have to wonder what was going through the mind of whoever wrote it. Or was it multiple people? The whole thing was so disjointed and made such little sense I wonder if it was cobbled together from a grab bag of half-baked ideas that had been rejected from previous episodes.
