Rugby Results So Far

crystalcazzieApparently the weather was listening when I mentioned how unseasonably warm it's been recently cos the past couple of days have got down to freezing. I'd really like a nice middle ground, weather! It is supposed to be autumn after all! But it does mean that I have now worn my coat, so there's that at least.
In other news, the Rugby World Cup is moving along. I should have made a post about it before the quarter-finals, but I didn't so I'll do it now...
How Things Stood Following the Group Stages:
Everyone was still in the running with at least one team in the quarter-finals. No one would be playing themselves in the final cos no one had teams on both sides of the board, but it was possible for Mum, Tormund or me to play ourselves in the semi-finals.
Then, the Matches:
Saturday saw my Argentina defeat Mum's Wales and then Mum's New Zealand defeat my Ireland. So we're going to face each other in the first semi-final to decide which one of us gets through to the final.
Sunday saw Tormund's England defeat Meg's Fiji and then Tormund's South Africa defeat Rob's France. So Tormund is going to play himself in the second semi-final and is guaranteed to be playing in the final.
This does mean that whatever the result, the prize will be staying in this house. If Tormund wins then I guess Mum and I will share the chocolate while I get another prize for him. I'm sure biscuits would go down well!
