BOTW So Far

crystalcazzieJust over a month until Tears of the Kingdom and I wanted to make a post with my progress so far as I try to 100% Breath of the Wild.
First, I feel like I should clarify why I chose what I did as my criteria for completion cos part of me feels like if I haven't done literally everything then how can I claim I've done 100%? But I think what it comes down to is things that can be measured in-game. There's the map completion, obviously, which is the only game mechanic that actually gives a percentage. Then there are Korok seeds and quests, which tell me how many I've done and how many there are in total. There are also Memories to find, which I forgot to add to my list but I think should be included cos again the game tells me how many of those I've found and how many there are still to go. Kilton also tells me how many monsters I've defeated in my mission to get the medals. I can't find an easy way to see how much of the Hyrule Compendium I've filled, but there is an option to buy missing pictures so if I add up how many of those are still available and take that away from the total then that should give me the number I've already found.
But unless I'm missing something, there's nothing in the game that tells me how many total weapons or sets of armour or possible meals there are, so the only way to tell if I've got all of them is to find an external list and mark it off from there. And I don't think I should have to start looking elsewhere to know what I've completed. I also found a 100% criteria list that included "search every dead guardian and abandoned wagon" and how on earth am I supposed to tell if I've done that? If it doesn't get counted in-game, then I'm not counting it.
And with that said, here's my progress so far:
1. Complete All Quests - Main 18/20, Shrine 42/42, Side 87/90
2. Find all Korok seeds - 895/900
3. Complete the map to 100% - 99.18%
4. Complete the Hyrule Compendium - 142/385
5. Get all monster medals from Kilton - Molduga 4/4, Hinox 40/40, Talus 38/40
6. Find all Memories - Main game 18/18, DLC 3/5
As you can see I've got a bit of catching up to do with the Compendium. I hadn't bothered with it throughout most of the game, but now I'm planning to 100% it I have to actually fill the thing. I spent a lot of the weekend running around Hyrule taking photos of stuff!
