Christmas Photos
Dec. 30th, 2022 07:02 pmHappy New Year's Eve Eve, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was good and I feel compelled to share with you the present that my brother gave us:

It's King Tormund! His portrait is now on the wall by the stairs so we can see it every day. I love it cos it's such a good picture of him and it works so well!
And because I love photos in general, have my Christmas recap in pictures:
We start a few days before Christmas. Having to be at work at 7:30 gave me the chance to take some pics of the Christmas lights in town (and also to buy festive coffees, which I definitely did!):

Christmas Eve saw us taking Tormund for a walk on a pretty, misty morning:

Then, while I was wrapping presents on Christmas Eve, Father Christmas was also getting our stockings ready:

Tormund has one too!
Christmas morning saw me enjoying a Buck's Fizz by the tree:

We opened presents throughout the day and prepared dinner, which was served at the same time as the King's first Christmas message. That's still going to take a lot of getting used to!
Dinner was good, plenty of bread sauce which is my favourite part, and we had crackers on the table. Instead of the usual nail clippers and mini screwdriver sets we got ones with these in:

It's an excavation kit. What could be inside?

I see a head!

He's free!
They were fun, but took an awful lot of work to get into! My hand hurt quite a bit afterwards!
The rest of the day was nice and relaxed. We opened some more presents and watched some TV Christmas specials. On Boxing Day we played a couple of games and opened the rest of the presents. But something I'd bought for Rob didn't arrive until yesterday so he'll have another present next time he comes up, so Christmas isn't over for him!
Of course, having said that, Christmas isn't over for us either. This is only the Sixth Day so we're only halfway through! Now, where are my geese?
