crystalcazzieIt's here! The first day of September! The day for me to make a post about how excited I am for this time of year and wax lyrical about how much it means to me!
Weather-wise it is starting to feel autumnal. The hideous heatwave is a thing of the past and there's a slight chill in the air. Some leaves are starting to turn and I can see the conkers on the tree out front getting big and fat and ready to fall on unsuspecting heads.
I have also seen 'coming soon' trailers for Bake Off and Strictly, so all is right in TV world. Although I will have to pick a new favourite pro dancer now that Oti has left. Maybe Johannes. He and John were brilliant last year.
I'm looking forward to trying some seasonal drinks as well. A Pumpkin Spice Latte will have to be drunk at some point, of course, but I'm also eager to try the Salted Maple & Caramel Latte that Starbucks have on their menu. I'm hoping that other places will have interesting choices too.
And something else happens in just under a week. Not sure what. Probably not that important... ;)
