crystalcazzieWE HAVE HEATING! I AM SITTING NEXT TO A RADIATOR WHICH IS ON AND PROVIDING WARMTH! I'D ALMOST FORGOTTEN WHAT THIS FELT LIKE!
So, yes, the boiler has officially been replaced. We now have hot water and heating again. All the radiators work except one, which naturally is the one in my bedroom. He said he couldn't bleed it cos of the shelves in the way, so I'm going to have to see if I can move them and do it myself.
I thought I would feel more relieved than I do, but my stomach is still a tight ball of anxiety. Maybe it's cos I'm still wondering what else might go wrong. Or cos we now have to sort out all the stuff that was moved for the engineer to access everywhere he needed to. Or because the electrician who came to help him looked at our wiring like it was something out of a horror movie and now I'm worrying about that too.
Tomorrow's Euromillions is £110 million. Just putting that out there, universe.
