In this entry I'm going to be getting upset about Pottermore. I'm putting it behind a cut because I'm embarrassed to be making a fuss about a silly online game that doesn't really matter, but I still want to say it.



I've seen a lot of people getting upset about the house they've been sorted into. I was a bit jittery but not too worried. I wanted Ravenclaw, but Gryffindor and Hufflepuff are good too and I could learn to love them. The only one I didn't want was Slytherin.

You can see where this is going...

I was a bit shocked that seeing that green banner actually brought me to tears, but it did.

I'm not upset because Slytherin is the "evil" house. I'm upset because Slytherins are ambitious, shrewd, cunning, cool and edgy (According to JK Rowling and Pottermore). All things I am not and have no desire to be. I feel like it couldn't have been more wrong.

So after all that excitement and waiting for early entry, I'm going to create a new account in October anyway. I didn't want to, I didn't want to be one of those people, but I just can't be a Slytherin.
