I know what you mean. Being tired/depressed can certainly exacerbate that as well.
Have you tried freewriting? Just put pen to paper (figuratively speaking, in this case) & see what comes out? Sometimes that helps get the juices flowing, so to speak.
[flings self at you] You're stuck in a hole, but don't give up! The whole purpose of Nano is forcing out that novel, when it's written you can go back and edit it!
