Did I mention it's shiny?

I have a shiny new laptop! It is big! And shiny! (It really is shiny, seriously.) It has an 18.4" screen and fancy sound system and Blu-Ray and a media console. It also has Windows Vista, which is very fancy.

I'm still in the 'new keyboard' stage and so typing this entry is giving me problems cos keys are not where I expect them to be, although I'm getting the hang of it. Everything feels a bit lopsided because the keyboard isn't centred due to the numeric keypad. Yep, my laptop has a numeric keypad. It's just that big.

I haven't transferred my files over from my old laptop yet so this still feels a bit like I'm using someone else's computer. I'm sure I'll get over that soon.

I may be slightly drunk right now cos it's my dad's birthday and I've had a glass of fizz. I'm sure one glass shouldn't leave me feeling like this but it appears I am definitely losing my tolerance.

Really I'm just glad I'm feeling so upbeat right now cos work today was shit and yesterday was even worse. I'm so glad I'm not working tomorrow or Monday. Screw the double pay, I want my four day weekend!

Sure, trial me up. I have no idea how to play that kind of game, so I'll be rubbish at it. Just so you know. :)

Oh, I'm rubbish at it, but still manage to have fun. Mostly you just point and click at stuff and make sure it's dead. Hilariously fun. I'll do for you what irrumator did for me, adopt you and take care of you until such a time that you can stand your own against various things. :D
And it would be nice to talk to you more, the game has its own in-house chat window, and we can always do the skype option. :D

I think the most difficult thing was remembering all the commands. I always struggle with remembering not to hit enter all the time, but otherwise, it's quite simple. :D [claps hands] I'm actually quite excited, so next wednesday (or whenever we next meet up) bring your laptop, or I can give you the disks - you can install from mine and then use the codes for the Trial. :D
