So I'm back. Do you want a detailed account of my weekend? Tough, you're getting one anyway.

Friday- Dad, Jeremy, Bev and I went to France via the Channel Tunnel. This was the first time I went through it by car (I was on the train before) so that was fun. Although not literally since you just sit in your car for about half an hour. Anyway then we went to Cite Europe. One trolley each and off to the hypermarche. Can I just say I hate those trolleys. They are so difficult to steer! Of course it could just be that I'm a delicate little girl. *flutters her eyelashes* We got a few bits of food (lots of cheese) and I think I may have found those things I had in France in year 9 that I couldn't find here, but mostly we loaded up with alcohol. Many, many boxes of wine and beer. Somehow it all fit into the car.

Then we went back to eat in the pub. It was really nice, they had wonderful french fries. I got a copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in French. I can read it pretty well but only because I've read it in English already, it's good cos I know what happens so I can work out what the words mean. Now I'm home I'm going to compare it to the English version to look up the words I couldn't get.

Spending the night at Jeremy's wasn't as bad as I thought. He and Bev are really nice.

Saturday- Dad and I went to see his parents. I spent most of the time reading Harry Potter and making notes for a fanfiction that kept popping into my head at random times for no obvious reason. I also attempted a bit of poetry, I haven't written any for ages and it was, what's the word?, oh yeah, CRAP.

I also came to the conclusion that I am a horrible person. I felt so uncomfortable and out of place that every time Granny tried to speak to me I said practically nothing in return. We had a big lunch there and then dinner at Jeremy's. Two meals in one day! I haven't eaten that much in ages!

Sunday- We said our goodbyes and set off for Canterbury. Dad whinged at me cos I read the directions to the house badly. I pointed out that I read them word for word and he said I was too quiet and didn't read them "well", whatever that means.

Gill had said the room was small. I thought she meant "student accommodation" small. But it turns out it's "you can stand in the middle of the room and touch all four walls without moving your feet" small. I don't think I could live in a room like that, which really upsets me cos I really wanted to like the house. It would have been great to be able to be friends with the landlord and live in a house with only two other people, who, according to Gill, are very nice. I think I'm going to email Rachel and ask about the house in Whitstable I lived in before.

So the weekend didn't really put me in a good mood. Although I liked going to France and seeing my grandparents I found both of these activities rather stressful and then I was really disappointed about the house. Plus, I am in PAIN. Stupid period. *goes to get copious amounts of chocolate*

Have I mentioned that I love you lately? No, I don't believe I have. I love you. Sounds like it was at least an eventful weekend. The highlight of my weekend (besides you getting home) was going to lunch with my mother Saturday. I was overly disappointed to find out today that the library wasn't open so I couldn't get books.
*Hands over lots of chocolate* There ya go baby.

Gimme! *grabs the chocolate*

*Eats it and becomes a rational human being again*

Thank you baby. =) Aw, poor you. People should never be deprived of books. That's just wrong.
