I have an interview. A real, proper job interview.
Scared now. So very scared.
The letter says it includes a shelving test and although I have put books back on shelves many, many times, I'm certain that all knowledge of the alphabet and counting is going to go out of my head the moment other people are watching me.
This is for my local library rather than one of the CILIP places, which I'm now thinking may actually be a better option. It'll give me time to decide if library work is what I want to do without the pressure of OMGINEEDAJOBNOW!!
But I'm not getting my hopes up. It's just an interview and I don't exactly stand out as a great candidate for the position.
Now I'm going to spend days fretting - what do I wear? How should I do my hair? What will they ask? What do I say? What if I forget everything and answer every question with 'umm, I don't know'?
The interview is next week. I predict that I will be a gibbering wreck by the time it actually comes around.
