Of Westies and Ice Cream

There was such a cute little Westie dog at the bus stop this morning. I said hello to it and it's owner talked to me about how it barked in the vets. Poor thing seemed quite scared by the idea of going on the bus.

Normally I sit at the front of the top deck so I have a nice view but today I wanted to stay down with the dog. Big mistake. There was this little boy right behind me who was whining and his mother who was whining almost as much as he was. Then she told him to "put [his] fucking feet down." Now I'm sorry for getting old ladyish but what is that going to teach him about swearing?

My lecture was ok. Then I went to the library to do Latin. I don't know if we're supposed to do the Practice and Review or the Sentences so I did them both. Really badly I'm sure. And I still have two gaps cos I just can't make them make any sense.

I decided to reward myself with ice cream afterwards cos the shop has restocked so I had an ice cream sandwich by the duck pond. Now I'm wondering whether to buy a tub to take back with me or not. And when I'm going to go back since about now all the bratty scum of the earth school children will be on the buses.

Ooh, I forgot to mention I got post today. My granny sent me a scarf and gloves and funky Christmas cards to use.
