Final Scores:

Paul: 35

So we didn't lose to a machine, which is good. We don't have to hide our heads in shame. I'm still annoyed at not winning after my awesome start, though. I'm also trying to remember why we decided Visual Effects should be worth three points when all the other middle awards (Sound, Editing, Cinematography, etc) were two. Yes, there is an ulterior motive at play here because if Visual Effects had been worth two as well then Paul and I would have tied.
But enough of my bitterness and onto the most exciting part of this post: The Dress Report!
Ones I liked:
Jessica Chastain

Simple. Elegant. And the colour really suits her.
~*~
Amanda Seyfried

It's so pretty.
~*~
Jennifer Lawrence

Normally I hate dresses that are tight below the waist before flaring out, but I really like this. And she wears it so well.
~*~
Nicole Kidman

I really want to hate this dress but I just can't. It looks so good on her.
~*~
Jennifer Aniston

This isn't the best picture, but it looked gorgeous when she was walking across the stage.
~*~
Adele

Elegant and flattering. I really like it.
~*~
Amy Adams

So pretty.
~*~
Corinne Bishop

It's not quite as amazing as I thought when I saw it on TV, but it's still a lovely dress.
~*~
Helena Bonham Carter

Queen Helena can be a bit hit and miss with her clothing choices, but I really like this one. It's elegant and pretty and Oscar-appropriate while still in-keeping with her style.
~*~
Kristen Chenoweth

Lovely shape and I really like the pattern too.
~*~
Octavia Spencer

Very elegant.
~*~
Quvenzhane Wallis

Pretty, pretty dress and I am loving the dog handbag. I think more people should take dog handbags to the Oscars.
~*~
Ones I'm Not Sure About
Zoe Saldana

It's not bad, but I think there's too much going on.
~*~
Catherine Zeta-Jones

Very metallic. Not a great shape.
~*~
Naomi Watts

I don't hate it but I don't particularly like it either.
~*~
Charlize Theron

I'm not as opposed to this as I was when I first saw it, but I'm still not a fan.
~*~
Sally Field

Sometimes it looks ok, but other times it just looks a mess.
~*~
Queen Latifah

It's a nice dress. It's just more of a wedding dress.
~*~
Sandra Bullock

I don't like dresses with sheer bits. It looks weird.
~*~
Ones I Didn't Like
Jennifer Garner

I like the colour, but I hate the style. Those ruffle things on the back are just stupid.
~*~
Halle Berry

It looks like a 90s power suit but in dress form.
~*~
Anne Hathaway

The positioning of those seams is very unfortunate. And the back looks ridiculous.
~*~
Kristen Stewart

There is nothing good about this dress. It's ugly, unflattering and completely ridiculous.
~*~
Jennifer Hudson

This nearly scraped into the Not Sure section, but I just... don't like it.
~*~
Melissa McCarthy

This may be the ugliest dress I've ever seen.
And finally we have my Not a Dress pick:
Deborah-Lee Furness

You go, Deboarah-Lee. If you want to wear a suit to the Oscars you wear a suit to the Oscars! Also that's a very nice accessory you have on your arm there
