NaNo Update

crystalcazzieI'm currently on 14607 words for my NaNo novel. Not great, but better than I was doing at this time in 2008 and I went on to win that. (See icon for inspiration.)
I nearly said I was doing better than last year, but of course I didn't do NaNo last year. Because this time last year I was in Sydney. Damn, time goes by quickly. I can still picture it all so clearly.
And now I feel sad because Sydney was so amazingly awesome and I wish I was back there now.
