Things heard at work today:
Ronan Keating's version of Iris. This is the third time I've heard it and it's still...eh. It's not bad, per se, it's just not right. Iris is the theme song for a whole generation of emo kids, you can't just cover it. That's tantamount to sacrilege!
A radio advert for Snakes on a Plane. Yayness!
A man telling me how interesting it was that pop music is considered popular while metal is seen as only being liked by metalheads, but you always see a lot of pop CDs in charity shops and never any metal.
The words 'put the change in the collection box' more often than any other day I've worked there, and quite possibly more than all the other days I've worked there combined. Must be something making people generous today.
