Excellent. I like this resolution.

My dad returned from my grandparents today bringing with him the travel section of the Daily Telegraph that they gave me cos it has cheap flights in. I was looking at it and I go "ooh, Tampa" seeing what I want. He then starts talking about how I can go to New York for just a couple of hundred pounds although it probably won't coincide with when I plan to go.

Er, yes father, there are New York flights for £199 this is true, however I feel that you have not quite grasped the whole point of this trip. I COULD go to NY but it would be a rather lonely and pointless visit.
